Trill Blessie Releases Alien Flesh

Made new in a world that isn't home — dangerous in Jesus' name.

Trill Blessie is back with Alien Flesh, a 14-track album now streaming free on Acts2024 Radio. It follows Feast in the Fire and the music video for Cold to Called.

Strangers Here, Citizens There

The title comes from a simple biblical truth: when Christ makes us new, this world stops feeling like home. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Peter calls believers "foreigners and exiles" (1 Peter 2:11), and Paul reminds us "our citizenship is in heaven" (Philippians 3:20).

For believers in the countries we serve through our cultures work, that's not just a metaphor. Following Jesus can cost family, work and safety. Alien Flesh is a reminder that this side of eternity is not the end of the story.

Opening Bold, Closing on the Name

The album starts with Dangerous In Jesus Name, a statement that the Gospel is good news and still disrupts things. It ends with Name Above It All, pointing back to the One the whole record is about: "God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name" (Philippians 2:9).

In between, songs like Broke Down, Pressure and Enough are honest about struggle, and All His and The Touch come back to surrender and grace.
